CONSULTATION

The first step is to book a one-on-one consultation with myself that will take place in-person at Spider and Fly Tattoo in Chippendale (Sydney, Australia for all you non-Sydney dwellers!). From there, we will discuss your dreams and aspirations for your tattoo including: subject matter, meaning/symbolism, aesthetic preferences, size, and placement. We will also take measurements and photos of the area where you wish your tattoo to be placed, so the design can flow with your natural shape flawlessly.

Once we have determined the specifications of your desired tattoo design, we will come up with a time/cost estimate. There are many factors that contribute to the overall cost of the tattoo, and we can make adjustments to the design to suit your budget.

Given the limited availability of consultation time, a small fee is required to secure your consultation booking. For small to medium sized tattoo projects (20x30cm or smaller), a 30 minute consultation should be fine. For multiple tattoo projects or tattoos sized more than 20x30cm, a 60 minute consultation is recommended.

DESIGN

Following the consultation and payment of any design fees and tattoo session deposits, I will email your design to you 1-2 weeks before your first tattoo appointment. The design will be overlaid onto a photo of you, so you will have a good idea of what the tattoo will look like on your body. Adjustments can be made to ensure you are completely happy with the design before we commence tattooing.

TATTOO SESSIONS

During your tattoo session, you will have my undivided attention and care. You will also have access to a number of amenities that will make your session as enjoyable as possible including: privacy screens, your own iPad with Netflix on it, phone chargers, water/tea/coffee, and CBD infused tattoo balm for pain relief.
